The 4channers were a concentration of players from the 4chan forums whose sole mission was to hunt down every last Facepunchers. They usually insided the group after chezhead rallied down the Facepunchers to 2b2t, and it is often compared to the Team Veteran - Team Rusher fiasco. After they declared war on the Facepunchers and won due to decentralized bases and hacking, most departed from 2b2t due to nothing else to do.

It should be noted that 4channers made up a large majority of the player base at the time of the Facepunchers joining and is often estimated to be upwards to 70% of the player base.

In the early days of 2b2t, when it was still on beta, the server initially gained popularity from 4chan, as some of the first official advertisement by 2b2t staff was on 4chan. The word "4channer" was originally used for anyone who came on to the server from 4chan. These 4channers who wished to play on an online server couldn’t identify with the existing anarchy servers and their admins. So 2b2t was - especially for frequenters of /v/ and /b/ - the Minecraft anarchy server of choice. The server started to be advertised on 4chan very commonly, with more and more new players joining. Spawn likely received the first wave of destruction at this point. The group eventually formed when players from www.facepunch.com began to join the server and tried to calm the tides of anarchy.

• For the most part, the 4channers made up most of the server population when the Facepunchers came along. It is estimated that 70% of the population was from 4chan, while 30% was from Facepunch, SomethingAwful, DeviantArt, and Reddit.
• The 4channers were the first to come up with the Social Classes that we see today because of their cancerous nature. They also were the ones to bring swastikas to the server as well.
