Team Nethertea is a group of players dedicated to tracking down and killing FitMC. The group was founded April 17th 2018 by FloatTea, leadership was passed on to WitBlue later the 23rd of January 2019.

Phase I - FloatTea's Quest[edit | edit source]

FloatTea joined 2b2t shortly after AntVenom's video on the server, so she could be considered an ant. She then made her famous video where she declared war to Fit and started Team Nethertea.

It took her a few months but she managed to track Fit down on stream and come face to face with him in the middle of the 7th Incursion. OPWolfy and digandbuilder were getting ready to help FloatTea kill Fit, as he had let them join him in his spawn patrol stream thinking they were there to help. Unfortunetly digandbuilder sent coords to Armorsmith for no reason at all, causing him to show up and making Fit leave and stop the stream out of fear of getting killed live by him again (Armorsmith had made Fit log during the 6th Incursion).

FloatTea left the server and her YouTube channel shortly after to focus on her real life goals.

Here's the Phase I full story as told by FloatTea herself:

“I would describe the Hunt to have 3 major incidents not including when I found Fit:

Incident 1 - The day before Fit's live stream, someone named OldFreeWilly and I were traveling to get some gear. To rush over his and mines relationship, we were dating and then a couple months later I fell out of love and broke up with him. He is a nice guy, it's just I don't love him. Back to the story, we found a place to settle down on 2b and I got off for the night. The next day I was watching Fit's live stream and noticed the nether tunnels he was traveling looked a lot like the ones we traveled so I eagerly hopped on and went to the nether. I didnt find him that day but he said he would continue to explore the tunnels in the next one. The same night while he wasn't on I tried to find the log position of him comparing the footage to where I was in the game, again, I didn't find it but I knew I was on the right track. Fit started streaming again and I went the direction I thought he would be, at one point he said some cardinal directions that helped me. While searching I walked into some L tunnels, I continued for a bit but went back because Fit was still in cross tunnels. A little later in the live stream, I noticed that HE WAS IN THE L TUNNELS THAT I WAS IN so I rushed back and before I got there he mined a tunnel branching off. When I saw his branch I was so excited and nervous, he was still live streaming at this time. I was in his exact spot -20 minutes of the stream.  He said that he would come back so I waited for him because he went into the open nether. After waiting a couple of minutes he decided to end the live stream early without making it back and I didn`t get to see him at that time.

Incident 2 - It was during one of his summer morning streams that I donated 50$ to him. He was super appreciative and answered my message which was not word for word "I'm hunting you down on 2b2t, can you give me any hints?", "I'm going to be under 10k later today". I found that to be a problem because I was 100k out in the overworld around that time. I started to travel to spawn that day but I seemed to be going super slow for some reason. I kept traveling during his live stream and later he revealed his exact coords but I was too far away. He moved very fast after the reveal and I was too slow that day to catch him. Probably from a bad night of sleep.

Incident 3 - this one made so mad I made a video the next day and uploaded the same morning. Fit did an escaping spawn with nothing on his back stream and was showing coords. I rushed to his location, I was lucking that I was close. He kept dying because of fall damage and other players. When I was sure I had him, a hundred blocks away, he ended the live stream because people were lagging out the server. I WAS SOOO CLOSE, SOOO CLOSE!!

So what led me to find him, ... the 7th incursion.

I knew he would be at spawn killing the new french so I decided to hang out at spawn. During one of his hunting streams a random player message me and knew his exact coords. I decided to trust this player and went towards the coords. One of the major landmarks FIt was traveling around was the 1500 cobble wall, and the coords the player told me were aligned with that so I knew that they were true. The moments leading up to seeing him was so nervewracking. The player said that they and Fit were heading STRAIGHT towards me, I was so nervous. This was months of patience, frustration, excitement, and satisfaction leading to this moment. I saw him ... I saw him and knew that I did it. Even though I haven't killed him yet, I knew that I did it. After that, I followed him gathering the courage to start fighting but was caught up in a huge lag spike and then it was over.

Right now I am focusing on finding myself and learning about a new hobby I picked up recently. I believe everything will be alright. ... thank you for listening to my story.” - FloatTea

Phase II - Today[edit | edit source]

After obtaining the FloatTea account December 19th 2018, WitBlue told FloatTea he would take on the task of killing Fit himself, to which she approved. This lead to Team Nethertea being brought back by him the 23rd of January 2019.

This phase is still happening as of today.
